Ghost air ride acting up again, anyone know a shop in Dubai that actually rebuilds these struts instead of just replacing them?
Noticed the Ghost sitting a bit lower on the front left again this morning and my heart just sank because I went through this exact thing about two years ago with the dealer and they had me replace both front struts for a figure that still makes me wince when I think about it, and now here we are again with the same corner doing the slow sag overnight and the compressor running longer than it should on startup. I really don't want to go back to the main dealer and have the same conversation where they tell me the only option is new OEM struts at a cost that could fund a small vacation, so I've been digging around online trying to find a shop that actually knows these air suspension systems and offers a rebuild service instead of just throwing parts at the problem. I stumbled across Royal Prince Auto Care and they seem to list themselves as Rolls Royce suspension repair specialists which gives me a bit of hope they've actually opened up one of these struts before and know how to replace the seals and recharge the system without it turning into a nightmare, but I'd love to hear from someone on here who's actually had their Ghost or Wraith suspension rebuilt locally and can tell me if it's held up through a full Dubai summer or if I'm just delaying the inevitable replacement. I'm not trying to be cheap but I also don't want to pay for a brand new strut if a rebuild kit and some labor can get me another couple years of that magic carpet ride.
