I've got a 2019 Stelvio that's been showing a "low battery please start engine" message on the dash every time I get in for the past week. The weird thing is the car starts perfectly fine, no slow cranking or anything. I've driven it on a couple of long highway trips thinking it would charge up the battery but the message keeps coming back. I don't have any lights left on or anything plugged in. The car has about 70,000km on it and I think it's still on the original battery. I found a place that does the Top-Tier Alfa Romeo Battery Installation Service By Battery Zone UAE but I'm not sure if I actually need a new battery or if there's something else going on. Could it be a faulty battery sensor or a software glitch? I've heard Alfa electrics can be a bit temperamental. Is there a way to check the battery health myself without buying a expensive tester? I have a basic multimeter. Also if I do need a new battery, does the Stelvio need any kind of reset or coding like some European cars? I don't want to just throw a battery in and still have the warning light. Would love to hear from other Stelvio or Giulia owners who've had this warning. Did it mean the battery was actually on its way out or was it just a false alarm? Trying to avoid getting stranded but also don't want to spend money unnecessarily. Thanks for any advice.
