I'm helping set up a new warehouse for a food distribution company in Sharjah, and one of our biggest challenges is the narrow aisle layout we're working with. We'll be using Euro pallets which are slightly smaller than standard ones, and I'm trying to find a hand pallet truck that can navigate these tight spaces without constantly scraping the racking. I've been looking at different models and found a Quality Hand Pallet Truck supplier in Dubai that offers trucks with a 450mm fork width specifically designed for Euro pallets, which seems perfect for our needs. The 2.5-ton capacity should be more than enough for our loads, and I like that the compact design means we can maneuver easily in our narrow aisles. But I'm wondering about the turning radius on these narrower trucksdoes the smaller fork width affect how easily they turn compared to standard models? Also, we'll be moving pallets between our cold room and ambient storage, so I need something that works well on different floor surfaces including smooth concrete and slightly textured epoxy flooring. Has anyone here used these narrow-fork trucks in a similar setup and found them effective? I'd really appreciate some practical advice before I place an order for our new facility.
